Camden, London
Leica M Monochrom – 50mm Summilux
I met this guy when I was shooting Camden last month and I’m ashamed to say I’ve forgotten his name. He approached me because he recognised my camera and proceeded to show me his Zeiss Icon which you can just about see tucked under his coat.
He was supporting some other protestors who were demonstrating about street artists being banned in Camden but it didn’t take me long to realise that this guy just protests about everything.
Within minutes he was telling me that MI6 and the Freemasons had taken his children away from him.
Anyway I asked if I could take his photo and immediately his anger at the world disappeared and he started acting in front of the camera. I didn’t like the way he was deliberately posing so I said thanks and walked off but then quickly sneaked back to get this one of him when he wasn’t looking.
